All-Dry of the Carolinas Before & After Photos

Our All-Dry of the Carolinas team was able to solve this problem by using a series of our watering proofing technology. Our crew installed a CleanSpace liner, sump pump, and dehumidifier. When encapsulating the crawlspace with CleanSpace, it seals the area to keep moisture from creeping up from the ground and causing damage to your foundation.   A dehumidifier was placed in the crawlspace as a solution to the humidity that is produced from the pipes under your house. A SumpPump is to flush out entering water and excess water from the dehumidifier from the crawlspace. Together with all these tools, the crawlspace is completely protected from moisture.

This customer wanted to encapsulate their crawlspace to keep any moisture from getting in, while also making it better looking and easier to work in.

The "before" photo shows a dark and dirty crawlspace, and even worse than that, it was exposed to the elements! The old liner they had did very little to keep water out.

The "after" photo shows what the same area looks like after we've installed our CleanSpace Liner! It is much brighter and easier to work in. But the best part about the CleanSpace Liner is that you don't have to worry about water and condensation building up under your home and causing even more problems!

This homeowner was having some problems with water coming through the basement walls, which was a big problem for the owner because they used their basement as a storage area. In order to help fix this basement, and bring it back to its former glory we sent a System Design Specialist to see what would be best for the homeowner. After the inspection, our Specialist knew exactly what this home needed, two products; a SuperSump Pump system and some WaterGuard basement drain.

The "before" picture shows a pretty average-looking basement wall, nothing too much out of the ordinary. Some smaller things that can be seen are the minerals left behind on the bottom of the wall and floors, this is more technically called, efflorescence. This just shows that water has been making its way through the basement walls/floors, because this is what is left behind when water seeps through.

The "after" photo tells a much different story than the before picture. The after picture shows what this area looked like after our installation crew had installed our products. The most obvious part of this photo is the SuperSump, which is directly in the middle of the picture. This sump pump system does an excellent job of pumping the water out of the basement and into the yard. The other product that may not be noticed is the WaterGuard drain, which was installed around the perimeter of the basement. This drain collects all of the water that comes through the walls and directs it towards the SuperSump.

This home in Landrum, SC was getting water into their basement. This was becoming a real inconvenience for the homeowners since the basement was used as a storage space. They had installed their own sump pump that was unable to help with keeping the basement dry. The homeowners realized that they needed to bring in professional help for interior waterproofing, so they called us at All-Dry of the Carolinas. We sent our design specialist David Listovitch to check out this homes basement and to give the homeowners the best options for keeping their space dry.  

                David recommended the best interior drainage system that is offered, WaterGuard, be installed around the edges of the basement. WaterGuard is installed into the basement by having a trench jackhammered around the perimeter of the basement. Weep holes are drilled into the base of the basement walls so that any water that builds up in the blocks will be drained out into the system. The WaterGuard is then placed into the trench; it has a special wall flange that extends up the wall by 3/8” to catch all water that comes down the wall. WaterGuard sits on top of the soil so that there isn’t any chance of clogging like other drainage systems. The WaterGuard is then attached to a SuperSump pump that flushes the water from the basement. Once the entire drainage system is in place, the gaps are filled in with gravel and it is covered with cement to make the system invisible.

This homeowner in Abbeville, SC had some of the most severe flooding that we have ever dealt with here at All-Dry of the Carolinas. This homeowner did not have any drainage, so when the water started pouring in, there was not much that they were able to do to keep it from flooding. Since they had to go through this tragic incident once, they knew that they needed this problem fixed as soon as possible, so it wouldn't happen a second time.

The "before" picture shows how much damage was done to this home's basement during the flooding. While this isn't the best picture, you can see a lot of mud that was pushed into the basement and was left there after the water dried up. The mud itself wasn't the biggest issue, but rather the water that pushed it there. Our main purpose for this project was not to give the water a place to drain, but rather keep the water from coming into the basement in the first place.

The "after" photo shows a much different story, this homeowner's basement is now protected! No more having to worry about their basement flooding or even leaking with this system! Between the WaterGuard that was installed, and the sump pump, this basement won't have any problems with water intrusion. The WaterGuard goes around the perimeter of the basement and collects any water seeping in through the walls. The sump pumps out all of the water that drains from the WaterGuard.
