This picture shows off the entrance to this crawlspace. While it does not look like the most professional work done, it does seem pretty solid, especially with the tape covering the seals. However, this is not the case. Moisture and water were still getting into the crawlspace, causing mold growth.
This homeowner really went all out in trying to encapsulate their crawlspace completely, however even with the job they did, it still wasn't enough. Sometimes even "professional" companies won't get crawlspace encapsulations right. There is a very detailed and particular way that our crews are trained to install the CleanSpace liner and other products.
Here is the finished crawlspace with the installed CleanSpace. You can see how clean and professional this liner was laid down. One of the most important parts of our liner is the thickness of it, at 20 mm, and how it is sealed onto the wall.
Here is our SantaFe Edge II dehumidifier, which helps to keep the humidity level down in the crawlspace.
This homeowner wanted to encapsulate their crawlspace, so they tried it themselves. While it seemed to be sealed, it definitely wasn't, so they called us up. We helped get their crawlspace in order using our CleanSpace liner, dehumidifier, and a few other products. This album shows a couple photos of this project.
