Customer Testimonial from Todd M. in Fletcher, NC

Dear Sharon:

It is with pleasure and true satisfaction that I write this letter to share with you my experience with your company and the CleanSpace system installed in our home.

Upon initially obtaining your literature and doing some independent research, I was certain that having the system installed was a prudent decision for our family. I think the fact that we would be purchasing a good quality system with sound structural and quality of life enhancements made the decision easy. However, I think the fact that the product would be out of signt, in a place I rarely "visited", and the benefits would not be immediately glaring allowed me to keep postponing the call to have the job done.

I can tell you now that I am glad I didn't continue to wait. The changes in our home are glaring and I now don't mind "visiting" that place. Before I share with you the impact I have seen on our own home, let me mention my experience with your professional staff.

I use the term professional with clear intent. Darrell was very helpful in answering all of my questions about your system. He did not try to overwhelm me with a sales pitch or convice me I must have this system. He was simply professional. And then your crew arrived. All three members of the crew presented themselves and completed their work in a very professional manner. In a day when service providers look to cut costs via cheap labor, I saw a company that had invested in their employees. It was clear to me that you understood that my experience with All-Dry was going to be through your installation crew; they are the face of All-Dry. I can comfortably say that when they left I had full confidence that the job was done properly. I did not sense there was ever an effort to rush the job or cut corners. As you well know, the construction industry has far too many under skilled workers (when they were skilled we called them craftsmen) and the construction practices today are far from what they once were. Quick turnover and minimizing costs are what drive the market. With All-Dry, I saw a quality product offered and installed by professional workmen. Though you probably do much larger jobs than our home, the investment in your system was sizable to us. I don't look for a bargain when dealing with such investments, I look for value. You delivered that to us.

Let me share with you some interesting experiences we have encountered since having your system installed.

Our Experiences:

-A quality moisture barrier/system to protect the structural integrity of our home.

-An improvement in air quality. The science presented in your literature is pretty simple to understand and well, obvious when one thinks about basic physics. Though we do not suffer from allergies, I have to wonder how much of the population does suffer from allergies (a large number) have their condition significantly worsened by breathing in each day the crud below their home. I am glad my 2-year-old and our family have addressed that risk and can enjoy the air in our home.

-Not only do we have the expected benefit of improved air quality, I have noticed that our home temperature is much more stable. In the cold, we would keep our thermostat at 70-71 degrees. We now keep it at 68-69 degrees and the home seems warmer. You can probably explain why better than I. I just know that during the recent 5-day cold spurt with nights in the 20s, the home was plenty comfortable at 69 degrees. And there was a significant reduction in the cold air drafts and a noticeable reduction in the cycling of the heating unit. I know you tout energy savings, but I didn't expect such an obvious demonstration of this benefit.

-Another area of energy savings that I had not even considered is our dryer. Since living in this home, we have had to run the dryer at the highest temperature setting for a full-length cycle, regardless of the type of load. Things such as jeans and towels would require additional runtime beyond this to reach full dryness. I previously cleaned the exhaust for the dryer which is routed through the crawlspace to the outside of the home. This didn't help. I was considering rerouting the exhaust because I felt the long run was the problem. Upon having your system installed, I checked a load of jeans after they had run the full cycle to see how much longer they needed. They were dry. This experience continued until I was "bold" enough to run a load at a reduced temperature setting for normal clothes they were dry. I got really crazy and not only reduced the temperature but placed the timer on "Economy" setting. Though about five more minutes were needed to dry the clothes, this was the first time we had been able to even consider using these features since we bought the dryer. This is a lot to write about a better functioning dryer, but it was both a surprise bonus of your system and something that is not annoying me any longer.

-This improvement is surely not a first for your company, but the timing may be. We have hardwood floors in our entry/foyer. There was a space about 2 feet round that gave when walked on. I noticed it our first week in the home and wrote it of to inferior building materials in the sub-floor. I didn't see it as a moisture issue. Within a day or so of your system being installed and the dehumidifier doing its thing, the cushion-like feel was gone. For a year and a half, the spot bugged me every time I stepped on it and I felt the floor give. In less than two days, the problem was resolved.

-My garage is now free of boxes and clutter. They are now under our house, in lawn garbage bags, in climate controlled storage. I love having my garage back, getting to park both cars in the garage now. I must say I underestimated the storage value of your product.

In all, you did what you said you would do. In fact, the benefits we have realized exceeded our expectations. I expect other nice discoveries will come about, but this isn't bad for less than a month of having a Clean Crawl Space.

Sincerely,

Todd
