CleanSpace can really transform a crawlspace, as this customer in Liberty found out. This crawlspace had a lot of exposed ground and a lot of standing water, which can be very detrimental to your crawlspace's (and home's) overall health. This water will evaporate and start to weaken a home's wooden floor joists and begin to grow mold.

The "before" picture shows off a lot about this crawlspace. While it does not seem that bad, there are obvious signs of water in the crawlspace. The biggest sign is the amount of dirt on the old liner. While some of this may just be from workers crawling around or loose clay, the majority of this dirt/clay comes from water being in the crawlspace and moving the clay onto the liner. Once there, the water pools on the liner and begins to evaporate. We also see a lot of open ground in this photo, because the liner was not properly installed or secured onto the walls of the crawlspace.

The "after" picture shows a much brighter, cleaner, and water free crawlspace. This is the exact same area as the before picture but does not look like it at all. The CleanSpace liner is laid out following the contours of the crawlspace ground and walls. You will not ever have to worry about accidentally tearing it off the wall by walking or crawling on it. This liner will stay looking this good because there is no open earth to be exposed to.

Whenever you think of the space under your home, you more than likely aren’t imaging a small pond. This is actually a very likely situation if your home isn’t protected. Water always flows downward, even if there are walls and floors in its way. In scenarios like this, water can pool into your basement or crawlspace by seeping through the walls. But there isn’t a need to stress when you suddenly find yourself fishing under your house. All-Dry of the Carolinas can be considered expert “fishermen” when it comes to situations like these.

In the before picture you see an old crawlspace liner that has a pool of water and mud. There are several things that All-Dry of the Carolinas can do to solve this problem! Combinations of a drainage system, a SumpPump, and an extended discharge pipe have been used to save this home in Liberty, SC from its water issues.

In the after pictures you see a neat and clean space for the SumpPump to do its work. The SumpPump will traffic out any unwanted fishing time in your basement or crawlspace. More pictures of the drainage system and extended discharge pipe can be found in our photo gallery under, “Fishing in the crawlspace solved by SumpPump”.

Job Stories From Liberty, SC
CleanSpace Liner and Accompanying Products Installed in Liberty, SC Home

Unfortunately for this homeowner in Liberty, they had some pretty serious water problems in their crawlspace. Luckily for them, they caught the water intrusion before it caused any major foundation or moisture problems. They noticed some standing water under their home, which is what caused them to call us. You can see some of this water in the second photograph. While this is the most obvious problem, it is not the only one. You can also see a bunch of mud and dirt on their previous liner. This shows us that water has been getting into the crawlspace and washing the dirt onto the liner, then sitting their and drying. This drying means that the humidity levels in the crawl space are increasing, allowing mold to grow.

To help these customers with their crawlspace, we installed several products including: CleanSpace Liner, drain tile, an Everlast Door, a dehumidifier, a LawnScape outlet, and a SuperSump sump pump. While the main product is the CleanSpace liner, all of the other products help CleanSpace to keep doing its job. The CleanSpace liner helps to seperate the crawlspace from the "outside world", and it does a great job at this. However, the other products listed above help to keep the water drained and the relative humidity of the crawlspace controlled. You can see the CleanSpace liner installed in the third picture to the right of the text. This customer went all out, and had the CleanSpace installed all the way up the wall.

While there are not pictures all of the installed products, one product that we do have a picture of is the LawnScape outlet. This outlet is connected to the sump pump, which pumps out any water that comes through the foundation, ground, etc and flows through the drain tile. The LawnScape outlet is usually installed a few feet away from the home on a downward slope. This way the water is pumped out of the crawlspace and down hill, so that the water does not run back down the drain the the sump pump. This would make the sump pump redundant, and have to re-pump water that it has already pumped once before.
